QuoteGen is operated by André Durante, based in Ireland. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. What we collect
- Account data — your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider; we never see your password in plain text).
- Business profile — business name, logo, brand color, and any contact details (email, phone, address) you choose to add, used to render your quote PDFs.
- Client data you enter — the name, email, phone number, and line items you type in when generating a quote for your own client.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the amount, but never your card number.
2. Why we collect it
Solely to operate QuoteGen: rendering your branded quote PDFs, keeping your quote history, tracking your token balance, and processing token purchases. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
3. Where it’s stored
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) and payments are processed by Stripe. Both are third-party processors bound by their own data protection obligations; we don’t share your data with anyone else.
4. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. That’s it — no advertising or analytics cookies at this time.
5. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing gearcorphub@gmail.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and quote data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to keep payment records for legal or tax purposes.
7. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date above.
